Milestone Reached at Rugby 106 as Glencar and BARJANE Celebrate Steel Signing with Key Stakeholders.
16th September 2025
Work is progressing at pace on the 106,000 sq. ft logistics facility at Rugby 106 in Warwickshire, with Glencar and BARJANE marking a key construction milestone.
The milestone was marked with a steel signing ceremony attended by Rugby MP John Slinger, senior cabinet members from Rugby Borough Council, Warwickshire County Councillors, and local planning and investment officers alongside representatives from BARJANE and Glencar’s delivery team. Attendees signed one of the core steels that will form part of the structure, symbolising progress and shared commitment to delivering a best-in-class logistics facility.
Strategically located within the UK’s ‘Golden Logistics Triangle’, Rugby 106 sits on Central Park Estate, home to major occupiers including Sainsbury’s, XPO, and Continental. The site offers immediate access to the M6 (J1) and is just 3.5 miles from the M1 (J19), ensuring excellent national connectivity.
