Glencar Secures 73,000 sq ft Industrial Development Contract in North London for Valor Real Estate Partners.

Two high-spec logistics units with a sustainable design focus and community benefits to redefine industrial facilities in Tottenham.

Glencar has today announced its appointment as the main contractor for the design and construction of a significant industrial and warehouse development in Tottenham, North London, for long-standing and valued customer Valor Real Estate Partners.

This transformative project will deliver two high-specification logistics units totalling 73,000 sq ft, including ancillary office spaces, service yards, and car parking. Located at West Road, Tottenham, the development reflects Glencar’s commitment to delivering sustainable and innovative facilities that meet the evolving demands of the industrial sector.

The project will involve extensive site preparation, groundworks, and sustainable waste management practices, and will also incorporate S278 highway improvements to enhance site access. Designed to achieve a BREEAM “Excellent” rating and an EPC A+ energy performance certificate, the development aligns with the highest environmental standards and the Net Zero Carbon targets outlined in the London Plan.

Key Features of the Project

  • Unit 1 –  59,641 sq ft warehouse with integrated CAT A-fitted office space.
  • Unit 2 –  12,174 sq ft warehouse with supporting facilities.
  • BREEAM “Excellent” and EPC A+ design, featuring high-efficiency LED lighting, roof-mounted photovoltaic panels, and water-saving technologies.
  • Thermally efficient cladding, triple-skinned roof lights, green roofs for cycle shelters, and EV charging stations to promote sustainable transport solutions.
  • Enhanced site infrastructure – external works, improved access routes, and comprehensive S278 highway upgrades to support connectivity and logistics.
  • Locally sourced materials and indirect job creation, reinforcing investment in the regional economy.

The project will be completed in Q4 2025 and is a key step in the ongoing redevelopment and modernisation of industrial facilities in Tottenham, North London.
