About This Project
Project Overview
Following the successful negotiation and completion of Unit 1 at New Stanton Park, Glencar was appointed to deliver Units 5 and 6 on the adjacent plot. The development provides 31,530 sq ft of modern industrial accommodation, further strengthening the park’s offering and supporting continued commercial growth in the region.
Completed in July 2025, the project builds on Glencar’s established relationship with Verdant Regeneration and the wider consultant team, maintaining consistency in quality, programme performance and design approach across the site.
Glencar’s Role
Operating under a Design & Build contract, Glencar was responsible for the full design coordination and construction of the two new industrial units, including all associated external works and site infrastructure.
Scope of Works
Industrial Units
Construction of two high-quality industrial units designed to meet modern occupier requirements, incorporating flexible warehouse accommodation and integrated office space.
External Works
Delivery of associated service yards, car parking, drainage, access routes and landscaping works to create a fully operational and accessible site.
Infrastructure & Services
Installation and coordination of utilities and essential services to support long-term operational performance and tenant readiness.
Sustainability & ESG
The development has been designed to deliver energy-efficient industrial accommodation aligned with modern ESG standards and occupier expectations, supporting sustainable long-term operation.
Technical & Delivery Challenges
Constructing the units within an established and expanding business park required careful coordination with adjacent plots and previously completed phases to maintain safe access and minimise disruption.
The Outcome
The completed Units 5 and 6 enhance the industrial capacity at New Stanton Park, providing high-quality, future-ready space and reinforcing the park’s position as a key logistics and industrial destination in the East Midlands.
