About This Project
Project Overview
Glencar delivered the fit-out of a new Visitor Information Centre as part of the £7bn Brent Cross Town development, transforming an existing unit into a high-quality, public-facing environment.
The space has been designed to showcase the vision and progress of the wider regeneration scheme, providing a welcoming hub for visitors and stakeholders.
Glencar’s Role
Operating under a Design & Build contract, Glencar was responsible for the full strip-out, refurbishment and fit-out of the unit, delivering a high-specification internal environment within a fast-track programme.
Scope of Works
Strip-Out & Structural Works
Full strip-out of the existing unit, including the installation of a new internal secondary steel frame to support the revised layout.
Façade & External Upgrades
Refurbishment of the building façade and delivery of associated external improvements to enhance the building’s presence within the public realm.
Interior Fit-Out
Delivery of bespoke joinery, seating booths and high-quality internal finishes to create a modern and welcoming visitor environment.
Building Services
Installation of full M&E systems, including lighting, power, tea points and WC facilities.
Sustainability & ESG
The project supports the wider Brent Cross Town regeneration, contributing to the creation of a sustainable and community-focused urban environment.
Technical & Delivery Challenges
The project was delivered over an accelerated 8-week programme, requiring efficient coordination of trades and careful planning to achieve a high-quality finish within a constrained timeframe.
